Whenever we are in town as part of a cruise ship port visit, we make it a point to come here to spend a few hours listening to music and having some cold beers.
It is located just a few blocks from the cruise terminals. It has several rooms to sit down and plenty of bathrooms inside.
This time, they had a musician named Keith Facey who was very entertaining playing Irish tunes and telling stories.
The bar staff are super friendly.

Thirsty or not this is a fun and relaxing place. Keith Facey played his Irish folk songs and all had a great time.

Loved Real Irish Singer!
Rccl gave us a choice of Wine or beer. Cheap wine but could not be happier with the entertainment. Great enjoyable singing and they treated us very good. enjoyed this stop as part of our excursion. This was through Aquilo tours.

Must Stop Here for Some Singing and local beer. Last stop on an all-day cruise ship bus tour. This little Irish pub is a few blocks from the cruise ship dock in downtown Saint John. Had a wonderful time singing Irish songs with an entertainer and drinking Moosehead beer. Great place to relax. Bought a tee shirt even.

We stopped here as part of a tour. I got to try an ice cold Moosehead beer, which was pleasant. The atmosphere was wonderful and lively, but at the same time very laid back and comfortable. There was a gentleman playing a guitar and singing. He was very interactive and a great player/singer. It was a nice to just sit back with a beer and listen to him play . Great location and great beer.
This is a place I'd love to come back to if I'm ever in the area again.

…one of Saint John area’s most entertaining Maritime, Celtic and Irish folk singers…..well-known for his heart-warming repertoire of story-songs and his use of banjo and guitar. His congenial approach to the art of folk music has won him a loyal following from Montreal to Halifax.

..the most active, authentic folk singer in Southern New Brunswick…accompanying himself on banjo, long-neck mandolin and guitar, Keith mixes Celtic, Maritime and Newfoundland song repertoires with international folk…even Australian bush ballads…and original songs he has written about the Saint John and Fundy areas.
Tony Lynch, Guest of Honor at Concert at Riverview Lions Club, August 3rd, 2013 had this to say:
"Thank you for an outstanding evening, immensely enjoyable. Your praises are being passed on several fronts."
Taco Pica, Saint John, NB: Ya played well man. A lot of them
enjoyed ya and you can for sure make anyone laugh!"
